Workday Consultant – Contract and Journeys

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and enhance Workday Recruiting subprocesses, encompassing Offer, Employment Agreement, and Onboarding stages.

• Create and modify offer letters and employment contracts utilizing Workday Docs and calculated fields to incorporate real-time data tokens.

• Establish multi-tier internal approval processes and oversee security permission domains for the visibility of sensitive documents.

• Maintain integrations with external signing platforms such as DocuSign.

• Address generation errors, test intricate condition rules, and ensure seamless data transfer from pre-hire to active worker profiles.

• Develop, test, and sustain customized employee journeys using Workday’s drag-and-drop builder and pre-designed templates.

• Link Workday tasks, external links, and third-party applications for onboarding, manager transitions, and role modifications.

• Tailor journeys based on location, job level, department, or demographic data.

• Collaborate with internal communications, HR business partners, and leadership to digitize training, policy implementations, and employee engagement initiatives.

• Work closely with the HRIS team and Workday partner during the Journeys implementation, including the EMEA phase 1 rollout, followed by a global launch of Journeys.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ months contract, with a potential for extension.

• Visa requirement: GC/USC.

• Over 5 years of practical Workday HCM configuration experience, particularly in Workday Recruiting and Journeys.

• Strong expertise in Workday Onboarding, Workday Docs, calculated fields, business process framework (BPF), and notification/document generation setup.

• Understanding of global or regional compliance requirements for employment contracts and digital signatures.

• Excellent requirement-gathering abilities to convert HR policies into automated system workflows.

• Experience with comprehensive Workday configuration/implementation, not limited to dashboards.

• Proven track record of establishing contract/offer automation globally across 14 countries.

• Experience with global Journeys implementations.
