Senior Consultant – PM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive delivery of Modern Workplace initiatives from initiation to completion.

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and success criteria in collaboration with internal and customer stakeholders.

• Establish and uphold project governance frameworks.

• Monitor project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and budgets effectively.

• Manage Microsoft 365 migrations and transformations, including Security & Compliance, Active Directory modernization, Identity and Access Management, collaboration platforms, Microsoft Teams Voice, tenant-to-tenant migrations, M&A integration programs, infrastructure modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives.

• Coordinate technical and business workstreams across various project teams.

• Lead tenant-to-tenant migration, divestiture, acquisition, and business separation projects.

• Oversee migration planning, assessment, discovery, pilot execution, cutover, and hypercare support.

• Ensure business readiness through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption planning.

• Promote Agile delivery practices and facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

• Track Agile metrics to enhance delivery performance.

• Serve as the primary liaison for customers, sponsors, and key stakeholders.

• Conduct steering committee meetings, governance reviews, and executive project updates.

• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies clearly.

• Plan and manage project resources, financials, forecasts, budgets, profitability, change requests, scope adjustments, and contractual obligations.

• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies while developing mitigation and contingency plans.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, methodologies, compliance, audit readiness, and documentation governance.

• Lead cross-functional project teams across multiple locations and disciplines.

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to project team members.

• Create and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, communication plans, executive dashboards, financial trackers, lessons learned, and closure reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of project management experience in enterprise IT, cloud, or consulting environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• A Master’s degree is advantageous but not required.

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Entra ID / Active Directory, Intune, Microsoft Security technologies, Azure infrastructure, and cloud services.

• Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and geographically distributed teams.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and executive communication.

• Excellent analytical, planning, risk management, and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, Planner, and project reporting tools.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 migration and coexistence strategies.

• Familiarity with Quest On Demand Migration (ODM), BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, and Microsoft Native Migration Tools.

• Understanding of migration workloads including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID / Active Directory, Intune, and Power Platform.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Voice architecture, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, SBCs, and telephony migration methodologies.

• Understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, governance, security, compliance, and best practices.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled workplace transformation initiatives is a plus.

• Understanding of Microsoft Security solutions and governance frameworks is an added advantage.

• Experience with enterprise change management and user adoption programs is beneficial.

• Exposure to large-scale global migration programs and multi-country deployments is a plus.

• Experience coordinating technical, business, compliance, and change management workstreams within complex transformation projects is advantageous.
