Workday Adaptive Planning Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead a team dedicated to delivering Workday Adaptive Planning implementations for clients across various industries.

• Serve as a Senior Adaptive Planning consultant on implementation projects.

• Collaborate with clients to grasp their planning processes and transition outdated models into Adaptive Planning.

• Propose solutions tailored to client needs, budget, and timelines.

• Facilitate design sessions and make configuration decisions using industry best practices.

• Create and configure forecasting and planning models within Adaptive Planning.

• Organize and conduct training sessions for users.

• Document the planning models and reporting provided to clients.

• Ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to budget constraints.

• Maintain communication with clients and internal project teams to guarantee customer satisfaction.

• Offer exceptional customer service and serve as a resource for project-related questions.

• Establish and align team objectives with Kainos company goals.

• Provide consistent constructive feedback and assess team performance.

• Oversee staffing and the onboarding process for new team members.

• Mentor junior consultants and act as a role model.

• Monitor team utilization, forecast workloads, manage staff allocations, and oversee timesheets.

• Participate in recruitment efforts and conduct interviews.

• Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and address challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required.

• Over 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, specifically in budgeting, planning, and management reporting (preferred).

• 2 to 4 years of experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system, such as Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, or Oracle Hyperion (preferred).

• Advanced or expert-level proficiency in Excel, especially in designing and building intricate financial planning models.

• Experience in a managerial role.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines simultaneously.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.

• Previous consulting experience is highly desirable.

• Maintain proficiency and certification in the Adaptive Planning application.
