WordPress Web Developer, Elementor – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Revise text, images, sections, and layouts on current WordPress pages

• Ensure new work aligns with the established design system and brand standards

• Make updates without disrupting existing flows, layouts, or features

• Create and implement new sections and entire pages using Elementor

• Cleanly extend or duplicate existing layouts

• Suggest implementation strategies for loosely defined requirements

• Publish and format blog entries and other content updates

• Manage the content library by removing outdated items, fixing broken links, and modifying navigation

• Guarantee that changes are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

• Test updates for regressions and any broken functionalities

• Resolve layout problems and minor front-end bugs

• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate timelines

• Actively propose enhancements for UX and layout

• Provide regular status reports, respond promptly during working hours, and identify blockers early

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, proven hands-on experience with WordPress

• In-depth, hands-on experience with Elementor for building sections and editing/extending layouts

• Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first best practices

• Capability to troubleshoot layout issues and minor front-end bugs

• Availability for a minimum of 5 hours per week during U.S. Eastern Time

• Computer with at least 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor or better

• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS

• Headset with advanced noise-canceling microphone and webcam

• Backup computer and internet connection

• Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

• Reliable internet connection

• Ability to work 20 hours per week in Eastern Time

• Basic knowledge of on-page SEO, including meta tags, alt text, and internal linking, is a plus

• Basic skills in light copy and layout refinement are a plus
