WordPress Web Developer, Elementor – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Revise text, visuals, sections, and layouts on current WordPress pages.

• Ensure new work aligns with the established design system and brand guidelines.

• Implement changes without disrupting existing flows, layouts, or features.

• Design and create new sections and complete pages using Elementor.

• Cleanly extend or duplicate current layouts.

• Suggest implementation options for loosely defined requirements.

• Publish and format blog posts along with other content updates.

• Manage the content library by removing outdated items, fixing broken links, and adjusting navigation.

• Guarantee changes are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.

• Test updates to identify regressions and broken functionality.

• Resolve layout issues and minor front-end bugs.

• Clarify requirements, communicate timelines, provide status updates, respond during working hours, and promptly flag blockers.

• Actively propose UX and layout enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong, demonstrated hands-on experience with WordPress.

• In-depth, practical experience with Elementor for building sections and editing/extending layouts.

• Comprehensive understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first best practices.

• Capability to troubleshoot layout issues and minor front-end bugs.

• Availability for a minimum of 5 hours per week overlapping with U.S. Eastern Time.

• Strong general WordPress skills within an existing site.

• Knowledge of responsive/mobile-first design principles.

• Basic understanding of on-page SEO is advantageous.

• Comfort with light copy/layout refinement is a plus.

• Computer with at least 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor or higher.

• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS.

• Headset with extended noise-cancelling microphone and webcam.

• Backup computer and internet connection.
