Weekend Intake Coordinator, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist families from the initial inquiry to the confirmed start of care.

• Proactively engage with families through phone calls, texts, and emails.

• Ensure that all necessary information and documentation are completed promptly.

• Aid families in navigating insurance requirements, including Tricare ECHO enrollment and referrals.

• Coordinate benefit verification and communicate subsequent steps.

• Collaborate with billing and insurance operations to address any issues.

• Clarify patient responsibilities, coverage, and anticipated costs.

• Set clear expectations regarding timelines, requirements, and readiness for care.

• Establish trust while maintaining a sense of urgency and accountability.

• Work with billing, operations, and partnerships teams.

• Identify obstacles and drive resolutions.

• Ensure smooth transitions when families are prepared to commence care.

• Evaluate family compatibility with Alpaca Health’s model and providers.

• Raise concerns and ensure alignment prior to the initiation of services.

• Maintain accurate records and tracking across various systems.

• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for workflow improvements.

• Take on additional responsibilities to enhance the speed and quality of care access.

• Seeking a part-time role primarily on weekends.

• Must be fluent in both Spanish and English (required).

• Highly empathetic and able to advocate when necessary.

• Communicate clearly and confidently on complex or sensitive topics.

• Highly organized with a strong commitment to follow-through.

• Comfortable navigating uncertainty and solving problems in real-time.

• Must take ownership and independently resolve issues.
