Outreach & Enrollment Coordinator, Bilingual – English/Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Initiate contact with individuals who registered through the app or filled out a Jotform, ensuring follow-up within the service level agreement (SLA).

• Implement systematic outbound follow-up sequences to reconnect with nonresponsive members.

• Utilize context-specific call scripts while adjusting tone and approach as necessary.

• Confirm insurance coverage and gather essential eligibility information.

• Assess program eligibility and assist members through the intake process, which includes filling out questionnaires.

• Evaluate interest in care navigation services and guide interested individuals through the enrollment process.

• Provide support to ineligible members by offering alternative resources and referrals.

• Address inquiries from prospective members and sensitively tackle enrollment obstacles.

• Facilitate administrative tasks to activate enrolled members, including scheduling and confirming subsequent appointments.

• Log outreach efforts, call results, and enrollment statuses in Malama's EHR and internal tracking systems, adhering to HIPAA-compliant practices.

• Work collaboratively with care managers and the broader team to ensure seamless transitions.

• Follow up with referring providers and partners regarding enrollment updates and next steps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish (both spoken and written).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outreach, care coordination, call center, sales, enrollment, or member/patient engagement roles (healthcare experience is preferred).

• Ability to work from a call script while modifying tone and approach based on the conversation partner.

• Strong phone presence — clear, warm, and persuasive without being aggressive.

• Detail-oriented and organized; dependable in documenting outreach activities and follow-ups.

• Comfortable managing high call volumes and repetitive outreach patterns.

• Mission-driven — dedicated to maternal health and aiding individuals in accessing care and addressing equity gaps.

• Proficient in using outreach/CRM tools, Google Workspace, Slack, and similar applications.

• Experience handling Protected Health Information (PHI) and adhering to HIPAA practices (preferred).

• Familiarity with EHR documentation and high-volume outreach queues (preferred).
