Web Developer – WordPress, PHP, Hosting | Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance websites and online stores, especially those built on WordPress.

• Execute website projects and technical updates, which include migrations and hosting configurations.

• Establish and oversee domains, email accounts, and SSL certificates.

• Connect and integrate various third-party systems and interfaces.

• Analyze, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize current websites.

• Engage directly with clients, from gathering requirements to implementation and project delivery.

• Offer support in related IT services and internal software development areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.

• Strong knowledge of PHP along with proficient skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience in customizing and building WordPress themes and plugins.

• Familiarity with MySQL databases, hosting environments, domains, and web servers.

• Experience with website migrations, online stores, and setting up email accounts is advantageous.

• Understanding of website performance optimization, security, and maintenance practices.

• An independent, organized, and solution-focused approach to work.

• Enjoyment in direct client communication and the ability to manage projects independently from inception to completion.

• A team player with proficient German and English language skills.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
