Web Developer, eCRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Brand and Visuals, and IS teams to discuss project requirements and provide technical recommendations.

• Develop efficient code while maintaining custom donation forms, advocacy forms, webpages, and email templates.

• Implement best practices for user experience, accessibility, page speed optimization, and GDPR compliance.

• Comply with global regulations, regional data compliance, and security standards.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding assistants for coding, refactoring, debugging, testing, and documentation tasks.

• Identify, sustain, monitor, update, or phase out AI-assisted and agent-built solutions.

• Employ human-in-the-loop reviews for AI-generated code and configurations prior to deployment.

• Adhere to quality assurance protocols and resolve technical issues within Engaging Networks.

• Collaborate with vendor partners and the Information Security team.

• Oversee script inventory, attestation, and other PCI compliance requirements.

• Work with testing teams to implement A/B and multivariate testing features on forms.

• Produce and maintain development documentation, support guides, and incident reports.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer programming, web development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.

• At least four (4) years of experience in front-end web development and creating custom websites is essential.

• Proven experience with Engaging Networks or similar eCRMs.

• Proficient in HTML5, Sass and CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, GitHub, Engaging Networks modules, Webpack, Node, npm, core AWS services, and Mailgun.

• Familiarity with Segment or other Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).

• Direct experience with AI coding assistants and agentic development tools like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.

• Knowledgeable in responsive, mobile-first web design, UX, accessibility, page speed optimization, browser support, and GDPR compliance.

• Familiar with cookie consent tools, preferably Iubenda.

• Experienced in building interactive data visualizations.

• Skilled in coding projects based on Adobe XD files or Figma.

• Understanding of digital marketing strategies for both US and international audiences.

• Awareness of AI trends in web development, including personalization and workflow automation, and their responsible implementation.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while delivering high-quality work on time.

• Data-informed problem-solving skills with experience using A/B testing platforms and Google Analytics.

• Ability to work independently and as a productive team member.

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is an advantage.

• An interest in animal protection issues is preferred.
