Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance responsive websites utilizing a website builder like Divi.

• Work in conjunction with the Project Manager, Team Lead, and Marketing Team to refine website layouts and functionalities.

• Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and overall user experience.

• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices.

• Complete revisions and project updates promptly and accurately.

• Create web pages that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.

• Prepare and optimize graphics, images, and other web assets.

• Apply SEO best practices in web design.

• Test websites for usability and responsiveness across multiple devices and browsers.

• Diagnose and resolve website design issues post-launch.

• Submit completed projects for internal review and integrate feedback.

• Comprehend website scope, requirements, and production priorities with the Project Manager and Marketing Team.

• Contribute innovative ideas for digital projects.

• Communicate progress, revisions, inquiries, and project needs to the internal team.

• Collaborate as part of a Web Team supporting Mediagistic, a digital marketing and advertising agency focused on home services and skilled trades businesses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional web design experience.

• Practical experience in building and editing websites using a website builder.

• Familiarity with content management systems, particularly WordPress.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

• Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles.

• Strong grasp of responsive and mobile-first web design techniques.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, or similar tools.

• Working knowledge of design principles, layout, and element placement.

• Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment and quickly deliver revisions and projects.

• Meticulous attention to detail and capability to meet project deadlines.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM US Eastern Time.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country or region where the position is based.

• Experience with Divi, Livecanvas, digital marketing or advertising agencies, SEO principles, current web design trends, HVAC or related equipment brands, and AI tools is preferred or advantageous.
