This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and enhance the three SharePoint sites associated with the Patient Safety Program.
• Curate and present guidance, tools, training materials, announcements, and various digital resources.
• Detect outdated or incorrect information and collaborate with content owners for necessary updates.
• Assist users with access, navigation, documents, links, and site functionalities.
• Investigate issues and escalate unresolved technical matters through the help desk.
• Develop FAQs, reference materials from subject-matter experts, and process guidance documentation.
• Provide training for new personnel on workflows and offer historical context for smooth handoffs and operational continuity.
• Educate shared-mailbox personnel on inquiry triage, routing, and recurring scenarios.
• Contribute to the content and digital presentation of newsletters.
• Publish an accessible version of the email newsletter on SharePoint.
• Implement Section 508 considerations for SharePoint pages, documents, links, and content updates.
• Identify opportunities to optimize content management, information sharing, and repetitive tasks using SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Assess changes for practicality and sustainability.
• Research technical topics and troubleshooting methods, including the use of generative AI when applicable.
• Validate recommendations and escalate issues as necessary.
• Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Over 1 year of experience in administering SharePoint sites and creating user-centered pages and content.
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, document management, and workflow improvement.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards for digital content.
• Excellent writing, training, organizational, and customer support abilities.
• Capability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and collaborate with program staff and technical support teams.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving around the office for prolonged durations.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.
