This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Cultivating long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of clients in our Industrial Water Treatment Business unit.
• Driving new business growth by generating leads, establishing connections, and prospecting within a vast market that presents significant share potential.
• Overseeing key accounts of mid-sized and large clients, with opportunities to enhance wallet share with existing customers.
• Staying updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and developments within the industry.
• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the products or services offered to effectively address customer inquiries and showcase value.
• Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions aligned with customer needs and objectives.
• Engaging in problem-solving and a value-added selling approach focused on acquiring and retaining customers, as well as repeat consumable business.
• Monitoring all sales activities, generating reports, and analyzing sales data.
• Negotiating and finalizing sales contracts and agreements to meet sales targets.
• Prioritizing customer needs focused on reducing total costs, enhancing production quality, and achieving Health, Safety, and Environmental goals.
• Effectively communicating customer requirements to all functional areas within the company to ensure coordinated efforts resulting in rapid organic sales growth.
• Consistently achieving individual and team sales objectives.
• Collaborating with the Research & Development (R&D) technical team to create sales opportunities and manage accounts.
• Traveling to current and potential customers to foster relationships and expand sales.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the Industrial Water Treatment sector.
• Proven track record in identifying leads, prospecting, closing new projects, and delivering impactful presentations.
• Demonstrated capability in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Highly achievement-oriented, with a strong drive to perform and grow.
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong consultation, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to comprehend new product lines and leverage that knowledge in customer presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Proven skills in sales and territory management.
• Willingness to travel for trade shows and other engagements.
• Ability to conduct technical/mechanical on-site testing.
• Candidates must currently reside in the Greater Montreal area.
