Bilingual Psychiatrist – English/French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual consultations as a specialist for military veterans and RCMP members undergoing medical cannabis treatment.

• Independently evaluate the mental health status of veterans.

• Analyze pertinent clinical data and offer a professional opinion on the suitability of the existing treatment plan and dosage.

• Commit to a minimum of 1 full day (or 2 half days) per week, equating to approximately 10 patients weekly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensure is essential: Candidates must hold a valid license to practice in Quebec.

• Must be bilingual in both English and French.

• Prior experience with military community members is preferred.

• A background in trauma-related mental health issues (such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, etc.) is advantageous.

• Experience in writing Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) is beneficial but not mandatory.
