Water and Wastewater Consultant – Pumps, Valves, Aeration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop product and/or service solutions tailored to meet customer requirements.

• Acquire new sales and maintain retention of specialized products and services.

• Aid in the design, development, and testing of new products, solutions, and services.

• Train and educate internal associates on customer needs, products, regulatory standards, and industry trends.

• Identify and nurture sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

• Generate new business while ensuring the growth of current accounts.

• Provide technical training to customers and relay customer feedback for future product enhancements.

• Regularly meet with customers to understand their evolving needs and position product solutions accordingly.

• Evaluate applications of company products or services and propose solutions that align with customer requirements.

• Participate in trade shows, customer-related events, national account meetings, and other promotional activities.

• Act as a subject matter expert on products and the related industry.

• May supervise the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work.

• Play a role in the professional development of employees without having hiring or firing authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the specified state(s).

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a related field.

• Generally, 5-8 years of experience in a related area OR an MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related area.

• Certification may be necessary in some areas.

• Possess technical knowledge of products and brands.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

• Capable of making decisions in uncertain conditions.

• Ability to independently execute assignments and develop solution strategies.

• Willingness to travel overnight less than 10% of the time.
