Warranty Specialist – Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance in program claim review and claim entry to dealers and field personnel.

• Act as a communication bridge between program headquarters and dealers to address discrepancies or conflicting coverage on vehicle repairs.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for internal staff, dealers, and OEM personnel regarding claim entry issues and inquiries.

• Assess dealer-submitted claims for accuracy based on claim type.

• Create and maintain essential program reports.

• Reach out to fleet customers via email concerning claims that exceed a specified dollar value.

• Charge dealers for unauthorized or incorrect claims.

• Address inquiries from customers or dealers via email or phone regarding rejected claims.

• Troubleshoot issues related to rejected claims.

• Evaluate claims to ascertain whether Basic Manufacturer’s Warranty, Extended Plan Coverage, or other OEM program coverage is applicable.

• Assist in documenting procedures, processes, and reference materials for claim entry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidate must be located in MI.

• Prior experience in OEM claim entry is required.

• Previous experience in warranty coverage review is essential.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of claims experience is required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent follow-up skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word (entry level).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (entry level).

• Ability to manage changing priorities and provide regular status updates as needed.

• An Associate's Degree is preferred, but not mandatory.
