This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and provide support for IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, IIS, and WebSphere Portal environments.
• Conduct security remediation, manage vulnerabilities, perform patching, upgrades, and validate compliance.
• Handle SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, truststores, LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory integration, SSO, and LTPA security.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers that support middleware environments.
• Design, develop, and sustain automation solutions for middleware administration, patching, compliance validation, and operational support.
• Create and maintain Shell, Python, and JACL scripts for regular administrative tasks.
• Automate deployments, middleware configuration updates, certificate management, reporting, and system health checks.
• Assist CI/CD deployment processes and enterprise automation tools.
• Carry out middleware performance monitoring, JVM tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Implement change management, incident management, and service restoration activities.
• Keep documentation, procedures, audit evidence, and compliance records up to date.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in middleware administration.
• Background in supporting enterprise WebSphere and WebLogic environments.
• Knowledge in security remediation, vulnerability management, and audit compliance.
• Proven track record in developing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and minimize manual effort.
• Proficiency in WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, IIS, and WebSphere Portal.
• Experience in administering Linux (RHEL, SUSE, AIX, Solaris) and Windows Server.
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS, LDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos, SSO, and security hardening.
• Skills in Shell Scripting, Python, JACL, XML, HTML, Awk, Sed, and Curl.
• Competence in automation, REST API integration, task scheduling, and operational scripting.
• Experience with IBM DB2 and Oracle databases.
• Expertise in JVM tuning, monitoring, and performance analysis.
• Must be eligible for any required U.S. Government authorizations for access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
• BA/BS degree and 6–8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
