This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the daily operational health, lifecycle execution, and compliant management of BeOne’s Veeva platforms within the global R&D technology portfolio.
• Perform technical configuration, manage platform operations, oversee lifecycle planning, coordinate releases and upgrades, handle access management, document processes, ensure security measures, manage vendor delivery, provide budget inputs, and maintain inspection-ready evidence.
• Work collaboratively with System Owners, System Managers, and GRDTS resources on platform operations, lifecycle tasks, documentation, and validated system execution.
• Coordinate a matrix of technical resources, vendor partners, contractors, system administrators, and project teams.
• Implement ownership models, governance routines, lifecycle controls, operating standards, and escalation pathways.
• Oversee configuration, implementation, integrations, upgrades, releases, roadmap initiatives, technical debt actions, and operational stabilization.
• Manage user access workflows, audit trail reviews, periodic reviews, SOP alignment, evidence management, remediation tracking, and readiness for inspections.
• Handle patch management, certificate handling, SSO, vulnerability management, incidents, continuity, and risk activities in collaboration with Enterprise IT, Information Security, Quality, and vendors.
• Prepare budget inputs, monitor expenditures, manage service performance, support contract renewals, and track vendor commitments.
• Create system ownership packages, system roadmaps, validated-system operations packages, security and maintenance trackers, budget and vendor management materials, and records for incident/problem management.
• Lead the response to incidents and outages, coordinate updates for stakeholders, document root causes, and drive corrective, preventive, and sustainable remediation actions.
• Provide leadership, coaching, prioritization, delegation, and accountability across direct, matrixed, contractor, and vendor resources.
• Over 7 years of professional experience in digital technology, information systems, R&D technology, application operations, systems engineering, or related fields.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, or regulated healthcare environments.
• A minimum of 4 years in progressive leadership or management roles, coordinating technical teams, matrixed partners, vendor resources, and cross-functional delivery in global or complex operating settings.
• Proven track record in owning or managing critical business platforms, covering configuration, implementation, integrations, release and upgrade planning, access workflows, documentation, operational controls, incident management, and production support.
• Extensive hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of technical administration for Veeva Clinical and Veeva Regulatory.
• Strong understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, computer systems validation, change control, audit trail reviews, periodic reviews, SOP governance, inspection readiness, and regulated system operations.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate with Enterprise IT, Information Security, Quality, Finance, Procurement, Legal, vendors, business process owners, and global R&D stakeholders.
• Familiarity with single sign-on, identity and access management, patching, certificates, vulnerability remediation, incident and problem management, vendor service management, and platform support processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical risks, operational health, roadmap trade-offs, incident status, and investment needs to senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in project, product, and operational delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, ITIL, or similar practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
