This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Support the team in ensuring the efficient and precise movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Efficiently and accurately unload and load trucks.
• Precisely weigh and measure freight.
• Operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Document any shortages, damages, or discrepancies using the appropriate forms.
• Guarantee accurate and timely data entry into the operational system.
• Verify quantity, labeling, and addresses against orders to confirm outgoing shipments are complete and accurate.
• Properly label freight with zero instances of cross-labeling.
• Manage the put-away, picking, and staging of freight; ensure all items are allocated to a designated location and accounted for (PUT’s & LDD).
• Complete required documentation as necessary.
• Identify and match numbers and country codes accurately.
• Collaborate with the office to uphold customer service standards.
• Aid in fostering positive customer relationships, ensuring zero mis-shipments, cross labels, or damage to customer freight.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, including the Temperature Controlled Room.
• Check in drivers using the ProxyClick system and verify their information, if trained.
• Comprehend department process flow and identify best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, count accurately, perform basic math (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication), and write legibly.
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended durations.
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
• Must utilize proper lifting techniques for weights up to 40lbs.
• The capacity to follow directions with a strong emphasis on safety is crucial.
• Must manage stress effectively when meeting deadlines under tight scheduling constraints.
• Ability to shift priorities smoothly.
• Capable of using hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, understand, and communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive outcomes.
• Organized with good time management skills.
• Must exhibit excellent work habits.
• Fork-lift certification and Security Threat Assessment will be required upon successful employment.
• Easily adaptable to changes.
• Tolerant of stress.
• Reliable and motivated.
• Confidence to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Maintains a positive attitude and works well with others.
