This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise and guide the Business Analysis team in daily operations.
• Oversee the activities of the Business Analysis Team.
• Collaborate with project sponsors to outline objectives for complex initiatives.
• Analyze project scope and identify key stakeholders.
• Gather requirements through interviews, document analysis, and various perspectives.
• Create specifications for project requirements and business rules.
• Define quality attributes, constraints, external interfaces, and non-functional requirements.
• Establish and execute testing strategies for programming modifications.
• Identify the cross-impacts of programming modifications.
• Document system changes, business rules, use cases/user stories, and test scripts.
• Break down high-level business and user requirements into detailed functional requirements.
• Represent requirements through flowcharts, diagrams, and scenarios.
• Engage in business justification and prioritize requirements.
• Encourage the reuse of requirements across different projects.
• Participate in the review and inspection of requirements documents and deliverables.
• Monitor the performance of direct reports, approve time-off requests, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain and continuously enhance requirements practices.
• Assist in the development of requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools.
• Address issues escalated by team members.
• Foster the growth of the Business Analysis team through knowledge sharing, experience, and expertise.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Information Systems software development team.
• Bachelor's Degree related to the position or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in programming/system analysis.
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Relevant experience in mortgage lending and/or consumer lending technology.
• Experience in the mortgage operations segment is highly preferred.
• Proven experience leading or collaborating with teams in an agile environment.
• Experience in managing backlog and release planning.
• Proficient in writing and collaborating on epics and user stories.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to scrutinize and streamline complex work processes.
• Modeling skills to graphically represent requirements information.
• Understanding of requirements engineering across Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps life cycles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct interviews, facilitate group discussions, gather information, and report findings.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Wiki, Google Docs, collaborative cloud-based tools, and third-party software applications.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Capability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects with meticulous attention to detail.
