📋 Description

• Spearhead enterprise initiatives to discover, assess, and implement opportunities for enhancing operational performance across SavATree's markets and service lines.

• Create enterprise frameworks to evaluate operational performance across various markets, branches, and service lines.

• Oversee the creation of an enterprise labor and workforce model that integrates demand, service mix, seasonality, capacity, staffing, productivity, utilization, scheduling, and labor costs.

• Conduct analyses on workforce planning, capacity modeling, crew design, routing strategies, scheduling optimization, labor productivity, technician utilization, and service delivery economics.

• Collaborate with the COO, President, Regional VPs, District Managers, Market Leaders, Finance, Data & Analytics, HR, and other functional leaders.

• Develop models and business cases to guide staffing, capacity, process, investment, and resource allocation decisions.

• Assist in annual operating planning through the analysis of volume, pricing, labor, materials, productivity, and capacity needs.

• Lead impactful, cross-functional projects from problem identification and analysis through to implementation and ongoing adoption.

• Foster and integrate a culture of continuous improvement and scalable best practices across branches, districts, and regions.

• Own and enhance business standard work, including Lean principles, Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, and Monthly and Quarterly Operating Reviews.

• Establish visibility and accountability through structured reporting, governance, KPIs, and ownership of initiatives.

• Employ structured problem-solving techniques and root-cause analysis.

• Examine operational and financial performance to pinpoint opportunities for profitable growth and efficiency improvements.

• Develop scenario analyses, business cases, ROI assessments, and financially substantiated recommendations.

• Lead enterprise transformation initiatives through the development of business cases, pilot designs, implementation, measurement, and scaling processes.

• Collaborate with IT and Data & Analytics on routing, scheduling, forecasting, mobile execution tools, AI-enabled workforce optimization, and operational analytics.

• Direct initiatives related to shared services, specialization/centralization, cost reduction, productivity, and operating models.

• Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, rollout strategies, communication, training, measurement, and resistance management.

• Define KPIs and leadership scorecards while developing executive-level reporting and recommendations.

• Act as a strategic partner to the COO and executive leadership team.

• Lead and mentor team members involved in continuous improvement and associated operational initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations strategy, workforce/labor analytics, operational excellence, continuous improvement, strategic finance, business transformation, or related fields.

• Proven experience in developing analytical models or frameworks that enhance operational performance.

• Background in labor productivity, workforce planning, capacity planning, staffing, utilization, forecasting, scheduling optimization, or related workforce economics.

• Demonstrated capability to analyze intricate operational and financial data, identify root causes and opportunities, and convert findings into actionable business recommendations.

• Strong financial acumen, including experience in crafting business cases, scenario analyses, ROI assessments, or financially sound recommendations.

• A successful history of leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from ideation and analysis through implementation, measurement, and sustainable adoption.

• Experience in a large, distributed, multi-location, or labor-intensive organization.

• Proven ability to effectively communicate complex analyses to executive leadership and influence decisions across a decentralized organization.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Preferred: experience in distributed field-service, route-based, retail, healthcare services, logistics, hospitality, facilities services, home services, or similar labor-intensive operational environments.

• Preferred: experience in a private equity-backed, acquisitive, or high-growth organization.

• Preferred: familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

• Preferred: experience with business intelligence, visualization, and analytical tools.

• Preferred: experience in developing or implementing enterprise labor/workforce models.

• Preferred: an MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
