This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance the Sales team focused on the North American market.
• Achieve or surpass sales, margin, and budget goals to foster growth and profitability.
• Establish relationships with key clients while managing and reporting on sales outcomes.
• Develop innovative and effective sales strategies to promote the organization’s offerings.
• Collaborate with the division president and teams in marketing, operations, innovation, and quality.
• Contribute strategic insights as part of the leadership team.
• Track KPIs such as revenue against plan, contact rates, quote closure rates, service agreement acquisitions, new account acquisitions, and gross profit margins.
• Support current business and seek new placement opportunities through both direct and indirect selling.
• Engage with potential clients and represent Certified Laboratories at trade shows and sales conferences.
• Create marketing and promotional materials in partnership with the division president and marketing team.
• Conduct research on target consumers and formulate quarterly sales-goal action plans.
• Design and implement go-to-market and operational strategies.
• Lead internal sales training and establish employee performance metrics.
• Participate in succession planning, conduct employee evaluations, and provide sales updates at management and company meetings.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, government regulations, and technical advancements impacting target markets.
• Assist the division president in sales-related functions and undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred; a degree in the sciences, especially Chemistry or Microbiology, is also highly regarded.
• 7–10 years of experience in sales leadership and 10–15 years in business development within the supplements, OTC, cosmetics, personal care, CRO/CMO, or laboratory testing (TIC) sectors is required.
• Proven experience leading a sales organization with a collective annual revenue responsibility exceeding $50M, along with a successful track record of driving revenue growth and consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Preferred experience in sales and business development within the cosmetics, personal care, supplements, OTC, manufacturing, CRO/CMO, or laboratory testing industries.
• Strong comprehension of B2B sales, business development, account management, and strategic customer relationships in a technical or science-oriented environment.
• Proficient in CRM systems, sales technology, and data-driven sales management tools.
• Capability to lead, nurture, and inspire high-performing sales teams, including setting performance standards, coaching, and holding team members accountable for revenue goals.
• Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies that generate new business, grow existing accounts, and enhance market share.
• Strong commercial insight with the ability to convert market opportunities, customer requirements, and industry trends into actionable growth strategies.
