This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a comprehensive sales strategy while overseeing company performance and fostering creativity.
• Recruit, lead, and nurture sales management and representatives to form a high-performing team within designated channels.
• Manage team performance and budgets to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Oversee the employer sales pipeline throughout the organization, supporting all employer sales initiatives.
• Assist in the development of employer sales strategies and target objectives.
• Refine branded materials, proposal presentations, website content, and ensure consistency across social media platforms.
• Create employer-specific follow-up documents, proposals, and pitch decks tailored to company characteristics, coverage, and state regulations.
• Identify efficiencies within the employer sales process and implement standard operating procedures in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop business cases and anticipated ROI analyses for relevant enterprise sales conferences.
• Oversee the Salesforce database of employer sales leads, ensuring all organizational touchpoints are documented.
• Establish and implement strategic sales initiatives to enhance efficiency, revenue, growth, and profitability.
• Provide regular competitive analysis reports to leadership.
• Prospect, pitch, and manage the complete employer sales process to achieve annual quotas.
• Create target prospect lists and engage with leads on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with benefits team members to schedule pitch meetings.
• Prepare or supervise customized pitch materials, lead pitch meetings, and manage follow-up activities.
• Develop customized proposals and collaborate with benefits teams to finalize deals with employers and employer brokers.
• Act as an individual contributor by implementing processes and overseeing the sales pipeline to meet quotas.
• Attend and contribute to employer sales and benefits conferences to expand the prospect pool, build relationships, and maintain brand visibility.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Client Management teams.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a sales leader.
• At least 8 years of sales experience within the healthcare or benefits sector while leading enterprise-level sales professionals.
• Experience in fertility/family building is a plus.
• Established relationships with employee benefit brokers and consultants are ideal.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales quotas in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Experience in leading a geographically dispersed sales organization and managing change effectively.
• Strong abilities in cross-organizational collaboration and relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in strategic planning related to sales organizations.
• Solid skills in budgeting, resource management, and organizational development.
• Confidence in developing and presenting business plans.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Proven ability to manage the employer sales cycle from start to finish.
• History of meeting and/or exceeding revenue targets.
• Capability to negotiate multi-year client contracts.
• Experience in supporting and implementing healthcare benefits strategies for mid-size and/or large employers.
• Ability to work independently in a lean, early-stage, high-growth environment.
• Willingness to travel for prospective meetings, industry events, and internal off-site gatherings as necessary.
