
VP, Finance Optimization – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +10 more states.
• Spearhead the transformation of Finance within CVS Health through unified systems, enterprise forecasting, planning processes, and regulated financial data.
• Take ownership of the Finance business capability roadmap and collaborate on the integrated delivery plan with DDAT.
• Oversee the Finance optimization roadmap, encompassing timelines, change management, business cases, ROI tracking, budget, and projected expenditures.
• Facilitate the delivery of SAP ERP and Ledger, along with Anaplan planning platforms, through implementation, adoption, and the retirement of legacy systems.
• Formulate communication and change management strategies to enhance colleague engagement and adoption.
• Manage the financial data domain, covering structure, ownership, access, quality, chart of accounts, and stewardship of master data.
• Establish standardized enterprise forecasting and planning procedures for Business Unit Finance teams.
• Ensure timely provision of information to stakeholders to aid enterprise decision-making.
• Act as the senior Finance Optimization representative for the Executive Leadership Team, Business Unit CFOs, and the Finance organization.
• Collaborate with Controllership, Treasury, and FP&A leadership to uphold enterprise standards.
• Serve as Finance's liaison to Enterprise Technology and share responsibility for delivery.
• Build, lead, and cultivate a high-performing Finance Optimization transformation team.
• Advance team capabilities and structure, including Change Management and Communications.
• Over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in Finance.
• Substantial responsibility for large-scale transformational initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge of planning, forecasting, closing, and reporting processes.
• Familiarity with the data architecture that supports Finance processes.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior executives and Business Unit CFOs without direct authority.
• Experience in supporting CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board-level decision-making.
• Strong understanding of Finance systems and technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (mandatory).
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries with multiple segments (preferred).
• MBA and/or CPA (preferred).
