Senior Finance Controlling & Tax Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Assist in the financial governance, steering, and operational finance establishment of the Portugal hub.

• Report directly to the Head of Hub.

• Collaborate closely with business area controlling, operations leadership, corporate finance, group tax, group legal, payroll, and global mobility.

• Aid in the future establishment of an additional hub in Eastern Europe.

• Carry out hands-on finance tasks related to intercompany business, transfer pricing, SLA-based service models, hub financial governance, and implications of cross-border employee deployment.

• Develop and oversee the financial infrastructure of the hub model, encompassing invoicing, cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring alignment with international governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Previous experience in a shared services, hub, matrix, or international corporate setting.

• Strong comprehension of intercompany charging, SLA-based finance models, transfer pricing interfaces, budgeting and forecasting, cost center management, and financial reporting.

• Practical knowledge of international or European corporate tax issues, particularly regarding employee deployment and permanent establishment implications.

• Experience collaborating with group tax, legal, payroll, and global mobility stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical abilities and the capacity to convert complex business models into clear financial frameworks.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.
