This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as a representative for Triumph's Equipment Finance Division in both local and regional markets.
• Generate equipment-related loans by establishing and nurturing relationships with current and potential clients.
• Provide support in underwriting new transactions from their inception to funding, which includes obtaining credit approval.
• Create and enhance a business strategy along with a network of direct and intermediary relationships.
• Oversee relationships with both existing and prospective borrowers.
• Evaluate potential borrowers by analyzing financial and non-financial information in accordance with Triumph Loan Policy and Target Market requirements.
• Pursue credit approval and effectively present prospective borrowers with the terms and conditions available.
• Spearhead the negotiation of loan structures during the proposal phase.
• Analyze monthly delinquency reports and support collection efforts.
• Identify, assess, and refer non-equipment-based lending opportunities to the relevant Triumph business units.
• Represent Triumph Equipment Finance in the designated territory in a way that enhances the Triumph brand.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in equipment-based finance or a similar field.
• Experience in outside sales is preferred.
• Strong understanding of credit fundamentals within a banking or finance company context.
• Proven ability to generate and finalize transactions within the $1 million to $50 million range.
• Direct experience in originating business with potential clients.
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and focus.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Professional verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Capacity to work in a confined space.
• Ability to remain seated at a computer terminal for extended periods.
• Capability to perform occasional stooping or kneeling.
• Proficient in standing, sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
• Specific vision abilities for computer-related tasks.
• Ability to perform light to moderate lifting.
