VP Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the executive leader for a worldwide product engineering organization

• Collaborate with Product Management to establish priorities and deliver top-notch software products

• Lead distributed engineering teams located in various regions

• Emphasize AI Coding and AI DLC driven development, deployment, and quality

• Propel the development of SaaS and cloud-oriented products

• Organize and oversee engineering budgets and resources

• Offer architectural direction and technical leadership across product systems

• Serve as a technical advisor to executive leadership

• Participate in design decisions, reviews, and the resolution of intricate technical challenges

• Interact with customers and assist in go-to-market and sales strategies

• Work collaboratively across functions to foster a strong customer-oriented culture

• Contribute to annual planning and product strategy initiatives

• Recruit, develop, mentor, lead, and retain top-tier talent

• Cultivate and enhance a team and culture that supports best practices and high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction

• Fulfill annual performance review and/or goal-setting responsibilities

• Undertake special projects and other assigned tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of progressive engineering experience with a strong emphasis on product development

• More than 8 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and leaders of leaders

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Significant experience in building and delivering customer-facing software products (SaaS preferred)

• Proficient in modern software development methodologies and full product lifecycle delivery

• Experience with cloud-based application development environments

• Proven history of delivering scalable and high-quality software products

• Strong collaboration with Product Management to advance product strategy and execution

• Demonstrated ability to align engineering delivery with business objectives and customer outcomes

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and executive communication

• Capability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement when necessary

• Experience in dynamic, product-driven environments

• Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure workspace that is free from distractions

• Must be able to ensure high-speed internet access/connectivity and maintain an office setup
