VP, Delivery Assurance – Global PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the global delivery assurance function and the leading-indicator system aimed at identifying program risks early.

• Manage Cloud Adoption Success outcomes across PS-led and SI-led initiatives.

• Actively engage on the most critical high-risk programs and coordinate cross-regional resources to fulfill customer commitments.

• Oversee the program management methodology, delivery assurance methodology, and delivery excellence framework.

• Integrate the technical, engineering, and delivery-execution methodology layers into a comprehensive PS delivery standard.

• Propel AI-enabled assurance and PMO tools, which include predictive program risk analysis, automated status synthesis, and AI-assisted PM coaching.

• Lead and enhance the global Delivery Excellence function.

• Establish the PM certification standard for PS consultants and SI partner practitioners.

• Manage the global PMO as a unified organization with AMER, EMEA, and APAC leaders reporting directly to you.

• Oversee the global PMO and Delivery Assurance cost-center budget, headcount plan, tooling investments, and AI platform expenditures.

• Develop the predictability layer for dependable PS forecasting alongside Global Operations.

• Set global standards for project and program management, encompassing leveling, certification, and career paths.

• Manage the global Partner Program Quality function and the standards for SI-led program assurance.

• Collaborate with Alliances on partner certification and design-authority models.

• Advocate for AI integration across delivery assurance, risk prediction, analytics, methodology automation, and PMO reporting.

• Represent Guidewire in external settings such as customer steering committees, SI partner executive discussions, and industry forums.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in professional services or large-scale program delivery.

• A minimum of 7 years in senior program leadership or PMO executive positions.

• Proven track record of owning a global program assurance, delivery excellence, or quality function in a services organization with over 1,000 employees.

• Demonstrated success in recovering high-stakes customer programs and restoring customer trust at the executive level.

• Extensive experience working with and influencing SI partners, particularly in program assurance and joint-delivery accountability models.

• Experience in leading methodology evolution through significant changes such as agile transformation, cloud migration, or AI/automation integration.

• Executive-level program leadership experience, including Tier 1 customer war rooms and board-level delivery evaluations.

• Authority in strategy-setting regarding what constitutes “good delivery” in an AI-accelerated services environment.

• Proficiency with AI in agentic delivery tools, predictive risk models, and AI-assisted PM practices.

• Strong influencing abilities and capacity to collaborate with regional VPs as equals.

• Financial and operational expertise regarding program economics, margin protection, and value realization.

• Experience in P&C insurance or core systems implementation is preferred.

• Prior PMP, PgMP, or similar program management credentials are advantageous.

• Background in service delivery for a hyperscaler, ERP vendor, or prominent SaaS platform company is preferred.

• Proven history of building or leading a delivery assurance or program quality function from inception is preferred.
