VP, Clinical Pharmacy Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and manage the pharmacy benefit management program across various product lines in both centralized and regional settings.

• Ensure adherence to corporate and health plan contractual guidelines as well as regulatory requirements.

• Provide enterprise-level leadership for pharmacy clinical operations, encompassing Pharmacy & Therapeutics governance, formulary strategy, clinical policy oversight, and management of the drug pipeline.

• Lead initiatives in pharmacy trend management, strategies for high-cost therapies, and the management of manufacturer relationships, including medical rebate strategies and negotiations.

• Collaborate with Pharmacy, Product, Actuary, Medical Affairs, Compliance, PHCO, and Market teams to develop comprehensive enterprise pharmacy strategies.

• Supervise strategic planning for emerging therapies, formulary performance, and the management of pharmacy expenditures.

• Assess program performance and suggest modifications to enhance costs and quality.

• Create and achieve pharmacy Annual Operating Plan (AOP) initiatives and Per Member Per Month targets.

• Define the strategic vision, objectives, policies, and procedures for the pharmacy program.

• Engage in accreditation initiatives, boards, task forces, committees, meetings, and other related activities.

• Manage relationships with and oversee key vendors and pharmaceutical companies.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.

• PharmD is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of clinical pharmacy care and experience is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical care and pharmacy benefit management practices.

• Previous management experience, including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning tasks, and overseeing staff performance.

• Experience in quality improvement is preferred.

• Equivalent experience gained through accomplishments of relevant knowledge, duties, scope, and skills reflective of this position's level.
