VP, AWS NA Practice Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AWS practice.

• Create frameworks, solutions, accelerators, and templates to enhance delivery efficiency, automation, and value.

• Establish and uphold a strategic partnership with AWS for the North American region.

• Collaborate with LATAM AWS leaders to ensure relationship alignment and share best practices in the US.

• Lead AWS-related business development efforts, including client engagement, solution design, and proposal creation.

• Coordinate with AWS to develop a joint pipeline for both current and prospective clients.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on AWS, keeping abreast of platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends.

• Facilitate access to AWS expertise for technical professionals at Blend as required.

• Work in conjunction with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to drive growth and enhance client satisfaction within the AWS practice.

• Provide thought leadership through industry publications, speaking engagements, and participation in conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a leadership position within a consulting firm, focusing on AWS cloud solutions, preferably for Data/AI projects.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS architecture, implementation best practices, and cloud infrastructure principles.

• Experience in leading content-rich workshops and discussions with CXO-level stakeholders, focusing on industry trends, POVs on specific challenges, innovations, and more.

• Proven history of driving business growth through strategic initiatives, client relationship management, and innovative solutions.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to varied audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Certifications in AWS and other relevant cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic) are advantageous.
