This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Continuously monitor selected social media accounts within the humanist, civil society, and sociopolitical domains
• Select appropriate content for reposting and perform other editorial tasks
• Conduct research on relevant subjects, ongoing discussions, and awareness days
• Generate ideas for innovative social media content and formats
• Prepare and craft posts, stories, and reels
• Tailor content for specific audiences on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Design and modify graphics and simple videos, utilizing tools such as Canva
• Assist in editorial planning
• Share ideas and expertise to enhance social media communications
• Collaborate closely with the national office
• Hands-on experience with social media and a solid understanding of platform-specific content and formats
• Background in creating or managing social media content, either professionally or as a volunteer
• A keen awareness of relevant subjects, engaging content, and current social media trends
• Interest in sociopolitical matters and alignment with humanist values and human rights
• Strong linguistic abilities and excellent proficiency in written and spoken German
• Familiarity with common digital tools
• Organized, self-reliant, and dependable work ethic
• A degree or formal training in communications or social media is not mandatory
• Experience with Canva or similar applications is beneficial
• Additional experience with reels, short-form videos, community management, social media strategy, or social media analytics is a plus
