Voice Actor, Swiss German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Capture high-quality voice samples across various formats including conversational, narrative, instructional, and scripted content.

• Provide clear, natural, and expressive speech in Swiss German.

• Manage tone, pacing, pronunciation, diction, and emotional expression effectively.

• Accurately perform scripts and produce multiple takes as needed.

• Ensure consistent voice characteristics, accent, and recording quality throughout sessions.

• Adjust delivery to suit different conversational and professional scenarios.

• Adhere to detailed performance directions and recording standards.

• Record in a controlled, quiet environment utilizing professional or near-professional equipment.

• Monitor recordings for issues such as background noise, clipping, distortion, and other quality concerns.

• Re-record material as necessary to meet project requirements.

• Deliver organized audio files in accordance with specified guidelines.

• Produce recordings that are suitable for training and evaluating text-to-speech systems.

• Assist in the development of natural and expressive synthetic speech for a customer experience AI agent.

• Ensure consistency and variation to support high-quality voice modeling.

• Agree to voice cloning for the specified use case of the CX AI agent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native fluency in Swiss German is essential.

• Must be currently residing in Switzerland.

• Professional experience in voice acting, voiceover work, dubbing, narration, podcasting, broadcasting, or a related field is required.

• Strong proficiency in intonation, diction, pronunciation, pacing, and emotional range.

• Experience in accurately following scripts and performance directions.

• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup is necessary.

• A high-quality microphone and a quiet recording environment are required.

• Reliable availability for around 5–10 hours per week is expected.

• Comfort with providing recordings that may be used for voice cloning within the defined project scope.

• A professional or near-professional recording setup is mandatory.

• Native Swiss German fluency is a prerequisite.

• Familiarity with audio software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, Reaper, or similar tools is preferred.

• Ability to deliver a range of vocal styles including conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm.

• Basic audio editing and quality control skills are advantageous.
