Visual Designer – AI, 2D Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance 2D environments, backgrounds, props, illustrations, and various visual assets.

• Integrate original sketches, AI-generated visuals, and manual adjustments to produce high-quality imagery.

• Fine-tune compositions, lighting, colors, and visual elements to achieve the desired aesthetic.

• Ensure visual consistency across assets and align them with the established style of each project.

• Create designs that seamlessly integrate into larger environments and can be adapted for various platforms.

• Share progress, solicit feedback at critical stages, and incorporate it into the final outputs.

• Collaborate with designers, animators, and producers to deliver visual assets that enhance storytelling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in 2D design and image creation.

• Solid understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and typography.

• Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Practical experience with AI image-generation tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Nano Banana, Seedance, or similar platforms.

• Strong prompt-writing abilities and the capacity to direct AI tools towards specific visual outcomes.

• Ability to conceptualize in 3D space and craft coherent environments, props, and visual assets.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Self-reliant, detail-oriented, and proactive in communication.

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment.

• Previous experience in gaming, animation, or similar visual production settings is a plus.

• Familiarity with After Effects is also advantageous.
