Virtual Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual urgent care consultations for acute or episodic health issues.

• Assess pre-filled patient summaries and utilize clinical judgment to approve or adjust care plans.

• Leverage the proprietary platform to assess patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and establish care disposition.

• Accurately document diagnoses, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions within the electronic platform.

• Collaborate virtually with nursing staff, care coordinators, pharmacy personnel, and clinical operations.

• Uphold agreed-upon coverage commitments while engaging in quality metrics, peer reviews, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Comply with state licensing requirements and telemedicine regulations.

• Manage approximately six patient interactions per hour in a combined synchronous and asynchronous workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) with an active and unrestricted license to practice in the United States.

• A minimum of five years of clinical experience with a focus on emergency medicine or virtual urgent care.

• Active licensure in at least 30 U.S. states, including a minimum of two from Georgia, Texas, New York, DC, or Florida.

• Proven proficiency in navigating telemedicine platforms and managing technology-driven patient interactions.

• Established clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities to handle high-volume patient encounters without sacrificing quality or safety.

• Willingness to work a rotating schedule that includes nights and weekends, with flexibility for shift modifications.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care in a remote environment.

• Documented ability to operate independently in a remote setting, demonstrating high levels of self-motivation and responsibility for clinical outcomes.
