Virtual Teacher, Visually Impaired – Certification Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Choose available positions via the educator portal

• Deliver the school's curriculum using the district's virtual platform

• Create lesson plans that align with the class curriculum

• Encourage creativity and enthusiasm in the virtual learning setting

• Engage and support student learning through relationship-focused approaches

• Monitor student grades and overall performance

• Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is present with students

⛳️ Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Currently possess an active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification

• Arizona certification is required or a willingness to pursue Arizona reciprocity

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional teaching role

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection

• Willingness to participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration

• Background check submission is required as part of the application process

• Previous online teaching experience is an advantage
