Virtual Teacher – Visually Impaired, Certification Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and assist students in completing their courses

• Utilize the educator portal to choose assignments that align with your certification

• Deliver the school's curriculum using the district's online platform

• Create lesson plans that are in line with the class curriculum

• Inspire creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment

• Engage and support student learning through relationship-centered approaches

• Monitor and record student grades and performance

• Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is physically present with students

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Arizona or California Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification is mandatory

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Active certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired is necessary

• At least 3 years of experience in a professional teaching role

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connectivity

• Willingness to participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration

• A background check is required as part of the application process

• Previous experience with online teaching is an advantage
