Virtual Teacher – Visually Impaired (CA Certified)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and support students towards successful course completion.

• Utilize the educator portal to choose assignments that align with your certification.

• Deliver the school's curriculum through the district's online platform.

• Create lesson plans that are in line with the class curriculum.

• Inspire creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Engage and support student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused methods.

• Monitor student grades and overall performance.

• Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is physically present with the students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.

• Must hold an active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification from the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.

• Must have access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet.

• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit to a background check as part of the application procedure.

• Previous experience in online teaching is advantageous.
