Virtual Teacher – Visually Impaired, AZ Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and assist students in completing their courses.

• Utilize the educator portal to choose available assignments.

• Deliver the school’s curriculum through the district's online platform.

• Create lesson plans that are in line with the class curriculum.

• Inspire creativity and enthusiasm in the online learning environment.

• Engage and support student learning through strategic, relationship-focused approaches.

• Monitor student grades and academic performance.

• Participate in district professional development workshops and faculty meetings.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is present with the students.

• Conduct one-on-one sessions during school hours, from 9 AM to 3 PM MST.

• Provide services for 119 days, working 5 hours each day, with a caseload of 6–7 students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Must currently possess an active Arizona state Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the education field is required.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection.

• Willingness to participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration.

• A background check is required as part of the application process.

• Prior experience in online teaching is an advantage.
