Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverage the Float Health platform and its supporting technologies, such as Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack, to facilitate start-of-care visits.

• Gather information from pharmacies and patients.

• Pair suitable nurses with patients.

• Oversee marketplace offers to ensure that nurses receive fair compensation.

• Onboard patients to the Float Health system.

• Verify logistics and schedules with users to guarantee safe and smooth home visits.

• Address restaffing and rescheduling requests.

• Interact with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients through email, phone, chat, and SMS.

• Handle inbound communications and initiate outbound communications.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams in shared queues and Slack to finalize visit documentation and related tasks.

• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.

• Continuously learn new processes and technologies.

• Build and sustain positive relationships with specialty pharmacy peers.

• Carry out pharmacy engagement tasks as necessary.

• Provide feedback to enhance technology and processes.

• Make staffing choices aligned with operational and financial goals.

• Act as a liaison among specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in medical scheduling.

• Capability to utilize multiple technology platforms at the same time.

• Ability to manage inbound communications while supporting other responsibilities.

• Proficient typing speed of 60 words per minute with high accuracy.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.

• Outstanding customer service capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and convey complex information clearly to all users.

• Adept at working effectively both independently and within a team environment.

• Proficiency in medical terminology and policies is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in the healthcare sector is highly desirable.

• Preferred prior experience in infusion therapy, healthcare intake, or specialty pharmacy.

• Previous startup experience is preferred.

• Availability to work Sunday through Thursday, typically from 9 AM to 5 PM or 11 AM to 7 PM PST.

• Willingness to work weekends as part of the regular schedule.
