Virtual Teacher, Visually Impaired – AZ Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and support students in completing their courses.

• Utilize the educator portal to select the assignments you wish to undertake.

• Deliver the school's curriculum through the district's virtual platform.

• Create lesson plans that are in accordance with the class curriculum.

• Inspire creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Engage with and support student learning using thoughtful, relationship-centered approaches.

• Monitor and record student grades and performance metrics.

• Participate in district professional development workshops and faculty meetings.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is physically present with students.

• Conduct individual sessions during school hours from 9 AM to 3 PM MST.

• Commit to providing services for 119 days, working 5 hours each day, with a caseload of 6–7 students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the United States and possess an active Arizona state Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed educator is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.

• A laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and dependable internet connection are essential.

• Candidates must participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and provide a background check as part of the application process.

• Previous online teaching experience is a beneficial asset.
