Virtual Specialized Education Instructor – Mod/Severe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver legally compliant, specially tailored instruction to K-12 students who have active IEPs.

• Provide compensatory education services as necessary.

• Develop and implement data-informed, individualized lesson plans.

• Focus on reading and literacy, foundational math, executive functioning, organizational strategies, and functional/adaptive life skills.

• Create, manage, and oversee student IEPs, including case management responsibilities.

• Collaborate with IEP teams to coordinate service schedules and customize instruction.

• Conduct screenings and perform progress monitoring.

• Complete formal outcomes assessments to inform instructional strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Arizona educator license/certification with Moderate/Severe Disabilities, PreK-12 Endorsement.

• Experience in a school setting providing specially designed instruction.

• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

• Excellent collaborative communication skills for engaging with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and students.

• Skilled in delivering virtual services using online meeting platforms.

• Strong proficiency in instructional technology.

• Dedicated, private workspace equipped with secure, high-speed internet.

• Reliable computer and webcam setup.

• Availability Monday through Friday during standard school hours, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

• Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
