Virtual Social Studies Educator, Certification Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Access the educator portal to choose the assignments you wish to undertake.

• Instruct according to the school's curriculum via the district's virtual platform.

• Create lesson plans that are in line with the class curriculum.

• Cultivate creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning setting.

• Engage students and support their learning through thoughtful, relationship-driven approaches.

• Monitor student grades and their overall performance.

• Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator who is physically present with the students.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess an active, state-issued teaching certification from the USA in one of the specified areas.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory.

• Necessary equipment includes a laptop or desktop computer, a webcam, a headset, and stable internet connectivity.

• Applicants must take part in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and provide a background check as part of the application process.

• Previous online teaching experience is advantageous!
