Virtual Seasonal Physician Assistant, NY Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide patient care through telehealth consultations, which include telephonic triage, video appointments, and email follow-ups.

• Engage in ongoing education during weekly Clinical Rounds and through various learning modalities.

• Collaborate with both virtual and in-office colleagues during daily huddles.

• Utilize specialized clinical training to deliver outstanding virtual patient care.

• Offer virtual clinical support in partnership with patients’ primary care providers.

• Ensure patient care is available 24/7, 365 days a year, through a team-oriented approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful completion of a master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS).

• Active NCCPA certification must be maintained.

• Current licensure in New York, with the potential to acquire additional state licenses.

• A minimum of 2 years of Advanced Practitioner experience within the last 5 years in outpatient primary care treating patients of all ages, or 2 years in urgent care or emergency medicine with a similar patient demographic.

• Flexibility to work afternoons and evenings; current shifts are from 7am to 6pm EST or 11am to 10pm EST.

• Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours of work per week.

• Availability to work 2 full rotating A/B weekends each month.

• Willingness to support 2 out of 4 company-recognized holidays.
