Virtual School Occupational Therapist, MN License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Provide engaging and high-quality occupational therapy instruction in a virtual classroom environment.

• Establish rapport and maintain momentum similar to that of an in-person therapist.

• Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.

• Convert evaluation results into clear and actionable objectives.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that adhere to each student's IEP in a remote setting.

• Record session details and monitor progress towards IEP objectives.

• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to ensure alignment on student progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited institution.

• Possession of a Minnesota OT license from the MN Board of Occupational Therapy Practice, or an OT Compact privilege from Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.

• Familiarity and experience with telepractice platforms for assessments and therapy delivery within a school/IEP context.

• A dependable, FERPA-compliant home setup with a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace.

• Strong skills in remote collaboration.

• Authorization to work in the United States.
