This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as a dedicated extension of the client’s Medical Affairs team to support a medication for HAE in Quebec and the Maritimes.

• Develop and nurture strategic peer-to-peer relationships with key Health Care Providers in the designated region.

• Deliver credible and impartial scientific information.

• Identify and implement the strategic Medical Affairs Plan.

• Assist with home office medical activities.

• Cultivate and exhibit a solid understanding of products as well as current medical and scientific research and publications.

• Create a virtual Medical Affairs presence through scientific collaborations with thought leaders, the medical community, and patient organizations.

• Deliver virtual medical/scientific presentations to both internal and external audiences.

• Offer internal stakeholders valuable feedback and insights from virtual HCP interactions.

• Maintain expertise in clinical, scientific, and technical aspects of rare disease therapeutic areas.

• Review scientific journals and participate in scientific and key technical meetings.

• Address and document unsolicited inquiries for scientific information, including queries regarding products under development.

• Share expertise in clinical and value-based communication through publications, conference data, educational materials, and internal training resources.

• Support clinical initiatives, including site identification, feasibility studies, trial recruitment, registry, and presenting approved data when necessary.

• Comply with corporate and healthcare regulations in all activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, MSc, or equivalent).

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of MSL experience is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with rare diseases, specialty care, or complex therapeutic settings is preferred.

• Proven ability to establish credibility with HCPs, KOLs, and key healthcare stakeholders.

• Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.

• Regional knowledge and cultural alignment within Quebec's healthcare communities.

• Experience with virtual external engagement is preferred.

• Compliance with all required regulatory guidelines is essential.
