Virtual IOP Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist clients throughout the treatment journey, including providing administrative support.

• Aid in the admissions process and welcome new clients during orientation.

• Support business office operations associated with payment collections and record maintenance.

• Welcome clients and facilitate the morning intentions group.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, their families, and clinical partners.

• Follow up with clients post-treatment and offer access to necessary resources.

• Handle matters related to FMLA, EAP, disability, legal, financial, and personal therapy issues.

• Coordinate communication with clinical partners regarding admissions and ongoing client care.

• Facilitate group sessions as needed under the guidance of clinical leadership.

• Organize group activities, schedules, discharge planning, and maintenance of records.

• Promote client communication and feedback initiatives.

• Schedule medical and provider appointments.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Coordinate support groups as required.

• Conduct chart audits upon request.

• Attend mandatory training sessions and fulfill other assigned responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in a behavioral healthcare environment is preferred.

• Must pass a criminal background check and meet any other state/federal requirements.

• Familiarity with current theories and evidence-based practices is essential.

• Ability to provide client-centered and culturally competent care.

• Capability to assess clinical needs and identify appropriate interventions.

• Competence in developing and implementing evidence-informed care plans.

• Strong advocacy skills for clients and their families.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and referral partners.

• Proficient communication skills with peers, clients, and vendors.

• Ability to lift and move up to twenty-five pounds.
