This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide comprehensive, evidence-driven patient care utilizing a remote technology platform.
• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, treatments, management of health issues, health counseling, and planning for patient disposition.
• Offer education and treatment related to pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sexual practices.
• Assess patients aged 18 months and older in primary care, acute care, chronic illness, and transitional care settings.
• Deliver patient counseling, specifically in contraceptive care and medication management.
• Inform patients about health maintenance and address their inquiries regarding care.
• Record all patient interactions in an EHR in compliance with MinuteClinic policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on patient care with both internal and external colleagues, including those involved in the broader patient-centered medical home.
• Function effectively as part of a patient care team, which includes Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Operate independently, prioritize tasks, resolve issues, take initiative, and advocate for both patients and the practice.
• Commit to working 40 hours per week on three weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Must hold a current, unrestricted license in D.C., DE, FL, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, NH, OH, RI, or VT.
• Willing to pursue and obtain additional licensure as necessary.
• A minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with an aptitude for multitasking.
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently and practice autonomously.
• Competence in information management and technology.
• Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues as needed to ensure quality care.
• Proficiency in additional languages, including Spanish, may be required depending on the market.
• Completion of a Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Possession of a state employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
• Must have broadband internet access, a quiet workspace with a neutral background, ability to maintain patient privacy, and capability for remote care delivery.
