This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Provide comprehensive, evidence-driven patient care utilizing a remote technology platform.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage various health issues.
• Offer health counseling and create disposition plans for patients aged 18 months and older.
• Educate patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
• Assess primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients.
• Deliver counseling on contraceptive care and manage related medications.
• Inform patients about health maintenance and address any patient care inquiries.
• Record all patient interactions in an EHR in accordance with MinuteClinic policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with both internal and external colleagues to coordinate patient care, including the broader patient-centered medical home.
• Function within a patient care team that includes Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists, and other healthcare team members.
• Operate independently, prioritize tasks, resolve issues, take initiative, and advocate for both patients and the practice.
• Possession of a current and unrestricted license in AL, AR, CO, IA, ID, IN, LA, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, TN, or TX.
• At least two years of medically relevant experience or an equivalent background.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Capacity to work independently and practice autonomously.
• Proficient in information management and technology.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with professional colleagues to ensure quality care.
• Depending on the market, proficiency in speaking and writing additional languages, such as Spanish, may be necessary.
• Completion of a Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification.
• State license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
• Access to broadband connectivity, a quiet environment with a neutral background, and the capacity to maintain patient privacy according to CVSH guidelines.
• Availability to work overnight, 40 hours per week, including every other Saturday and Sunday.
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure as required upon hiring.
