This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
• Provide remote patient care utilizing a virtual technology platform.
• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care independently, which includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health problem management, health counseling, and planning for disposition.
• Educate and treat patients regarding pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, safer sex practices, contraceptive care, and medication management.
• Assess patients in primary care, those with acute conditions, chronic illnesses, and those requiring transitional care.
• Instruct patients on health maintenance and address their inquiries regarding care.
• Maintain documentation of patient care in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) in compliance with MinuteClinic policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care with both internal and external colleagues, ensuring alignment with the broader patient-centered medical home.
• Collaborate within a patient care team that includes Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Operate independently, prioritize tasks, solve problems, take initiative, and advocate for patients and the practice.
• Commit to a full-time evening schedule of 32 hours per week, including every other Saturday and Sunday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Must hold a current license in one of the following states: D.C., DE, FL, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, NH, OH, RI, or VT.
• Must be willing and able to pursue additional licensure as required.
• A minimum of two years of relevant medical experience or its equivalent is necessary.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Must demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision is required.
• Proficiency in information management and technology is necessary.
• Must possess the capability to collaborate effectively with professional colleagues.
• Depending on the market, proficiency in additional languages, including Spanish, may be necessary.
• Completion of a Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program is required.
• Current National Board Certification is mandatory.
• Must possess a state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of employment.
