Store Leader, Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the core of the store and a vital member of the store leadership team

• Implement merchandising and marketing strategies

• Enhance store profitability

• Foster the development of the entire store team

• Ensure exceptional customer care

• Provide leadership in customer service, including training and coaching

• Identify skilled applicants and nurture future leaders

• Empower staff and promote productivity

• Execute merchandising and marketing plans

• Utilize P&L statements and store reports to drive improvements

• Oversee cash management, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program

• Keep the store clean, safe, presentable, and well-stocked

• Collaborate as part of a management team

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior supervisory experience is essential

• Capability to lead and provide training and coaching in customer service for all store personnel

• Ability to identify talented applicants, cultivate leaders, empower team members, and boost employee productivity

• Experience in overseeing and executing merchandising and marketing initiatives

• Proven ability to leverage P&L and store reports to drive change

• Skills in managing cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the rewards loyalty program

• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to health and sanitation protocols

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities

• Proficient in computer applications; knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Word and Excel, is preferred

• High School diploma or GED is preferred, but candidates with at least one year of retail management experience may be considered

• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence is required

• Automotive liability insurance must be maintained during employment

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching

• Capacity to occasionally lift weights of up to 50 pounds
