Site Activation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Lead activities associated with the initiation of clinical trials, understanding client goals and aiding in the formulation of plans for site and country distribution.

• Supervise the daily execution of all facets of site activation within assigned projects, ensuring alignment with sponsor timelines, expectations, ICON/client KPIs, SOPs, and regulatory standards.

• Ensure the presence of a thorough site activation plan for each project and conduct studies in compliance with that plan.

• Spearhead sponsor initiatives such as kick-off meetings, bid defenses, project updates, status calls, and other essential communications.

• Leverage project management expertise to enhance performance and collaboration, guaranteeing successful study outcomes.

• Oversee daily site start-up and activation tasks while assisting the team in achieving quality results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in life sciences.

• At least 4 years of experience in a Clinical Research setting, with a focus on Start-Up expertise.

• Strong skills in project management.

• In-depth knowledge of regulatory and submission procedures across various countries.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

• Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 15%).

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
